Good Wheels
Program

Do you have an extra car hanging around your garage taking up valuable space?

Solution: Clean out your garage by donating that well used but still running car to the Good Wheels Program and receive a hefty tax write-off.

Think about it.

How would you manage without a car? How would you get to work, to the grocery store, to your health care provider?

Many low income Upper Valley families are in this situation. Often, safe and reliable transportation is the only unmet need which prevents families from becoming self-sufficient and living with dignity.

You can help

St. Barnabas' Episcopal Church and the Central Vermont Community Action Council work together to have vehicles evaluated, repaired, and transferred to the new owner. We also assist applicants to locate resources to pay for the cars, usually at the cost of repairs.

You will receive a letter for tax credit purposes indicating your donation. As a state-licensed dealership, the Central Vermont Community Action Program is recognized as a charitable organization and is a 501(c)3 agency.

If you are interested in donating a car or would like more information contact:

Your gift allows someone to be on the road to self-sufficiency.
